Hi all,

I wanted to use the ANSYS Maxwell Optimization algorithm for motor design. I wanted to maximize the Torque and keep the ripple below 5%. But it does not let me define these two goals. I was wondering if you had any suggestions and help me with this.

What and how are you exactly defining these? 
if you can share some screenshots it will be useful to understand the problem better.

Hello @ssaeidab,

Optimization only accept one goal when minimize/maximize is used as condition. I would suggest you maxmize the torque (as the only goal) first, and then give a acceptable torque value as the secondary goal as shown below.
