How to model softening effect of polymer

      Hello

Below is the typical engineering stress strain curve of polymer, softening effect occurs after the yield stress. Even the curve is converted to true stress strain curve, softening still exist. As we know, elastic plastic hardening does not allow the softening curve. What material model should we use if softening is considered? Thank you

You might want to explore options with the Three-Network-Model (TNM) available in WB-Mechanical and MAPDL.
