SubscriberHi,Â
Â
I have a sine vibration to simulate with 2 Octave per minute for testing level. I noticed there is an option for frequency spacing: linear, log and Octave. How do I select 2 octave?

SubscriberA physical test on a shaker table doing a sine sweep must specify how fast to change frequencies. Your test says to use 2 octaves/minute sweep rate.
When you do a Harmonic Response in ANSYS, every frequency is simulated at steady state, there is no sweep rate. You specify the start frequency and end frequency and how many points in between, and how to space the points.
