SubscriberI'm trying to create an animation in Ansys Fluent 2021. Usually following the simulation I save the animation straight way in the Setup tab (accessed through ansys workbench), but this time the program crashed following the simulation; luckily with no data loss.
I've accessd the Solution tab through Workbench:
I only have the Mesh tab open when opening the Solution, the scaled residuals tab is closed and my plane view that I created for the animation was also closed. I right clicked the pathlines I created under graphics, and opened in a new wondow to see the created graphics.
I then clicked "Playback" under "Animations", but the "Write/Record Format" is greyed out, so I do not have the option to write a video file:
How are we to create animations through the solution tab in Workbench? When I click "Read..." I see the file:
Clicking it I see:
I can't delete animation-1 as it displays another error message "Sequence can't be deleted. Animation onject exists in the current session."
All of the .hsf files are still available:
and the ansys user guide (unhelpfully) states the following:
and:
Can someone point me to a solution to this, please.

Ansys EmployeeCan you please open Fluent Standalone, outside the Workbench, do not load any Fluent Case file, just try to read *.cxa file and try again displaying the HSF files?
