Hi all.
I have a model where the cylinder is solid and inside the cylinder is SPH.
I imported this model along with the mesh into LS-DYNA.
Tell me how to remove the SPH grid in the LS-DYNA prepost and build a solid grid instead?
I tried:
- removed SPH
- - indicated that this is not SPH
but solid but the mesh is not rebuilt.Â
I have attached k-file DOWNLOAD THIS

July 27, 2022 at 1:38 pmRam GopisettiAnsys EmployeeHi , One way is to use pnt2Mesh option in prepost which hels you to creat an tet based solid part but it will be quit buggy, the second method is to deleat the SPH by noting the measurement of the cylinder and then reconstruciting it using the shape mesher options. cheers Ram

In the second option, do you propose to remove the SPH and build a solid instead?

Good. Thank you! The second way is clear.
I didn't understand the first way, sorry sir. There is no such tool in prepost pnt2Mesh.
Сan you tell me in detail? Thank you!
