SubscriberHello,
Does anyone out there have experience running catalytic reactions using SURFACE CHEMKIN? I'm trying to simulate a plug flow reactor where all the reaction takes place at the surface of the catalyst. The difference between SURFACE CHEMKIN and CHEMKIN is that an additional file is required, "surface kinects file."
I was able to get some results, however, we're expecting both of our reactants to be consumed, instead, we see a small fraction of one of the reactants get consumed. All the parameters neccessary are written correctly, at least to my knowledge.Eventually I noticed this error file but I do not know how to interpret this.
Any help, advice or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!!

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Is this issue recurring? What version are you using?
The error seems to be related to systems or improper definition of a parameter. Can you please re-check? Also, try running this in the latest version to see if the issue persists.

SubscriberHello Rahul,
Thank you for your response. You are correct about that. My school updated the computers and in the 2021 version the error message does not pop up. However, for some reason I am still not getting the expected results I should be getting.
I'm no longet receving any error messages, so I am not quite sure the the problem lays. Is it possible to talk more about this over phone or zoom?Any help would certainly be appreciated!!
Thank you for your time.
