SubscriberHi,
I need to calculate the are of a specific surface which varies due to a load. The geometry is 3D. I have tried with APDL command but I only managed to extract volume of the underlying elements rather than surface area. I was relatively successfull on planar structure meshed with shell elements. I have tried it on a simple 1mm3 cube undergoing 1% strain but no luck. Any idea on how to do it?
