SubscriberI am studying a car crash and would like a graph of crash load vs displacement. I have finished solving the explicit dynamics analysis but cant find this result option. How can i get this graph?

First you have to switch the contact force output to yes under Analysis settings.

Before running the simulation, you need to right click on Solution Information to insert Body Results Trackers of Contact Force or External Force, then scope the results tracker to one of the two bodies in impact. Finally, start the simulation. Program will automatic output the contact force to the results trackers at the frequency specified in Output Controls under Analysis Settings. Please be aware that results trackers can only be inserted before you are solving the model. Once solution is obtained, you are not able to insert the results trackers.
Then, you can use chart option to plot contact force and total deformation.

Subscriberthanks for your reply. I have an issue with total deformation. Since i have alot of erosion particles in my explicit analysis, these particles are being considered part of the total deformation result and consequently, i am getting a max deformation value of over 200 meters on a model thats 1-4 meters. How can i solve this so i can get a correct crash load vs displacement graph as you suggested?
