Error using stress tool due to undefined yield strength

      Hi All,

I am running a stress analysis of a blade due to a rotational velocity and a body temperature imported from CFX. I am trying to use the stress tool to get an indication of where failure might occur with regards to the change in yield strength of the material due to varying temperatures on the blade. However, i get an error saying the yield stress is undefined, however, i am using IN-625 from engineering data which has the bilinear isentropic hardening curve already defined. I assumed this would provide enough information as it shows the yield strengths at various temperatures. I have not defined any S-N curves as i cant find accurate data on these.

Does anyone have any advice on how to solve this issue?

Please see the Ansys Help; Workbench -> Engineering Data User's Guide -> Material Data -> Supported Properties -> Static Structural. About half way down the page there is a section for "Stress Tool". It lists the material models needed/supported by that stress tool. There are specific material models for that tool that define Yield/Ultimate stress. This is so the stress tool can be used with a linear material model.
