SubscriberHi! How do I fix this warning? I already selected Ideal-Gas from the Density drop down list and this error keeps on showing in my console....
Warning: Pressure far-field boundary condition can only be used with ideal gas law.
Please change either the boundary condition type or enable ideal gas law.
Solver cannot proceed until this is fixed.
Note: Enabling energy equation as required by material density method.

Ansys EmployeeGo to materials and select ideal gas law for density.
If that persist, please change boundary condition to pressure outlet.

Forum ModeratorIf you're using a species mixture you need to change the material property in the mixture, not the fluid.

SubscriberHi! I tried all your instructions and it worked. However, This "Note: Enabling energy equation as required by material density method." keeps on showing in my console. is there anything I do to fix this?

Forum ModeratorIt's a warning. If you want ideal gas the solver will turn on the energy equation. To avoid the warning turn the energy equation on before setting ideal gas. Same overall outcome but you won't see the warning.
