Why do bodies in my model become invisible?

Inexplicably, certain bodies within my model become invisible or transparent when I'm working in Geometry in Mechanical. If I turn on "Show Mesh", or go to Mesh, the body becomes visible. I can click in the empty space where the body should be and view its properties, and I can run jobs and get expected results, and see the body in Results, so the body is still there - it's simply not visible under certain situations.

I can confirm that under Graphics Properties for this body, Visible = Yes, and Transparency = 1, and the body is not suppressed.

This has happened to me in the past as well, on a different version of Ansys, in a completely different model. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this occurs or how to fix it.

      Any ideas? Many thanks,

PS: I've erased some of the body names in the screenshots for security purposes.

I have also come across this a few times. Do you also get an aqua/blue rectangle in the depth picker? (bottom left corner of graphics window)
Seems to be a bug specific to assembly models, where a geometry change has occured in an upstream system. I have been able to get it to go away after a subsequent model update, but I don't know what specifically causes it or what specifically makes it go away. Seems to be harmless to the application and FE model.

      Yes - It's the front/left-most one below.
Thanks for the response...glad I'm not going crazy.

      Hello mscal,

      Thanks for your response.

Which version of Ansys you are using where this issue is happening?
