To whom it may concern,

I am trying to use the Windkessel model to calculate the outlet pressure of a blood vessel in FSI. The Windkessel model can be added into the Fluent using the ACT extension. Then, I run the Fluent case with the windkessel model and it works really well. However, if I use the same case for FSI modeling in command line, it doesn’t work (the calculate pressure is always zero, which is wrong). It seems the Windkessel model or ACT extension was not loaded for each iteration in FSI. I am not sure what to check next. Could you please provide some insights?

The UDF code for the Windkessel ACT is available here: https://catalog.ansys.com/product/5b3bc6857a2f9a5c90d32ee8/windkessel. You can take a look at the UDF to investigate the issue further.

Thank you, Steve! I was trying to adjust the UDF code, so I can compile it to the Fluent as long as I have pre-defined the Windkessel parameters and ID. Do you know how to pre-defined Windkessel parameters, such as Resistance and Compliance?
