Dynamic mesh. Remeshing setup problem. How to set size

      Hello,

I am running an impingement flow problem with particle deposition. Because the deposit builds up at the impingement point, the mesh has to be highly deformed.

The Remeshing setup requires min/max length scale. The Remeshing will active if grid is larger/smaller than the scale. But my problem is in my domain, the smallest grid is determined by first layer grid near the wall, and the largest grid is determined by grid near the outlet. So the Remeshing does not work because the mesh in the region of interest is always within the “normal” range. Am I correct that the my mesh is not remeshed for my dynamic mesh problem?

if so, how do I solve the problem? Is it possible that I set the max/min length scale specifically for the region of interest?

      thank you

      Hello,
You can create cell registers to determine the cell size range in the region of interest. From this you will know min and max cell value. You these values for remeshing.
