I am trying to connect to the cluster and the Ansys v212 installation on the HPC cluster. At RSM Configuration on my local machine I get the Error Message: "System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the remote host did not respond properly after a certain period of time, or the established connection was faulty because the connected host did not respond xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9212".

The following ports are opened by the firewall on the cluster:

9212/tcp

11212/tcp

12212/tcp

13212/tcp

"PortRange" value="1000-1010" also /tcp,

"SocketTransfererPortRange" value="30000-30010" also /tcp

The following three processes are also running:

/usr/ansys_inc/v212/RSM/ARC/bin/ArcMasterService.exe -noshutdown

/usr/ansys_inc/v212/RSM/ARC/bin/ArcNodeService.exe -noshutdown

/usr/ansys_inc/v212/RSM/bin/Ans.Rsm.Launcher.exe -noshutdown

I tried the approach and now get a different error message: "System.NullReferenceException: the object reference was not set to an object instance."

I have not changed anything and in the meantime I get a different message (see picture)
