Can I extract the thermal resitance and capacitance from Icepak after defining the geometry and material? So that the result would be a thermal network?
Thank you.

Just to double check, do you mean like a R C network for transient cases like a Foster or Cauver network ? Do you have some sort of an explicit CAD geometry of the package with all the parts and materials ?
April 22, 2022 at 2:27 pmljuenemannSubscriberHi I mean Foster and Cauver networks. I have an explicit CAD geometry with all parts and materials. I want to extract the Foster or Cauver network from this geometry.
Thanks

However, Icepak and Twin Builder / Simplorer can be used to perform the large number of trials and simulations needed for curve fitting required for the R C network creation.
