SubscriberHello,
I am currently trying to model the gas flow coming from atmosphere, through a 0.381 mm capillary, into the first region of a vacuum chamber. Based upon the results from past literature, the incoming jet should have a velocity of 780 m/s, putting it above the max mach number that I'm allowed. I'm currently using the pressure based solver with a mass flow inlet and a pressure outlet, with a target mass flow. How can I change this number, or is this tied to the solver I'm using?
Sincerely,
Peyton

Ansys EmployeeHi Please use a density based solver as the flow speed is greater than Mach 1. This should fix your issue.
