Modelling roughness and its parameters.

      Hi!

      I am conducting a project that deals with the importance of roughness at highspeed aerodynamic regimes. I have looked at the ANSYS handbook in regards to how roughness is modeled, and they have kindly provided a reference to one book where they get the equations from. However, I would still like some further information in regards to how they modeled it. For example, what is the transitional Reynolds number Re_k they used? Does it take into account the adverse pressure gradient effects?

      I ask this because the geometry I am working with is not a flat plate or a pipe.
