Sliding mesh results – velocity vectors vs velocity vectors in stn frame

I have simulated a centrifugal pump for which I am plotting with different styles to visualize results. I don´t quite understand the difference between plotting velocity vectors vs velocity vectors in Stn frame of rotation (see below). It seems to me that plotting them in Stn frame shows the absolute frame of motion and this verifies the general fluid direction the impeller is rotating at (clockwise in this example). But then, plotting the velocity vectors would then be the the velocity observed by the rotating frame of reference?

I find multiple definitions online. Can someone share clarify the difference?

Hi hancar_27 Velocity Vector plots in the local frame of reference while Velocity Vector in Stn plots in the absolute frame of reference. You can find more information in the link below.
