SubscriberI have attempted to partition the mesh around the flap as sensibly as I can and get the following error when I do so. I don’t really know why this is happening but I have tried my best.
Â
I have attached screenshots of the error and what my mesh output looks like for your reference

Ansys EmployeePlease check geometry in SpaceClaim.
Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. (Or Tools - Fault Detection in DM)
The geometry should be error free to proceed.
If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places.
Check the number of nodes on edge edge and method you have applied.
Please check if you can mesh it using tri elements.
For quad elements you will need to decompose geometry.

SubscriberHi Keyur I have just checked my geometry and it is error-free, I also tried meshing with tri elements and I still receive the same error. Do you have any other recommendations other than the videos?
Thanks Jad Hanna

Ansys EmployeePlease check sizing. Try different edge sizing with tri elements.
