SubscriberHello
I have a question regarding UPF, I have coded a user defined element with Fortran and I linked it with APDL through oneAPI compiler. My doubt is sometimes the results are correct and sometimes not! with EXACATLLY the same input file ! I don't know if this may be a compiler problem or not!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeHi @dka, can you let me know which version of ANSYS are you using? We have specifications for which compilers are supported for a given version. ANSYS doesn't officially support oneAPI, and this could be a source of inconsistent results.

Subscriberthank you very much for your reply. What I have discovered later is that this happens when I calculate the stiffness matrix and internal force vector in an early step, depending on the pure input TotValDofs. In the Userelem.F file they are calculated later. As I understood, calculating them early affected the displacements values in the next iterations and also the force vector itself was not being calculated by the true displacements.
