SubscriberFor background, I am a graduate student working on model integration,
currently using Modelcenter/Ansys Motor-CAD/Matlab. Apologies if the
terminology I use in this post is imprecise, as I am not an expert in
this specific software.
I am currently working on a project to automate generation of LAB duty
cycle results using ActiveX python scripting. In the next step of the
project, we would like to run MotorCAD Lab co-currently with a
Simulink file. As a result, we would like for the results from each
individual timestep in the duty cycle to be reported when it is
calculated so that it can be transmitted to the other software. Is
there any feature in MotorCad that enables this currently?

Forum ModeratorThe MotorCAD tutorial section has some examples, they're accessed from the MotorCAD help system.

Is there a particular tutorial that addresses this issue? I've taken a brief look through the tutorials but I haven't found much. Please let me know which one, sorry for the inconvenience.

SubscriberAnd to clarify, I am not looking at exporting the results of the simulation after the entire duty cycle is complete. I am interested in having the individual data points at each time step in the duty cycle exported to simulink, as they are computed. I am seeking to do this via scripting.

Ansys EmployeeHi Please have a look at the tutorial on FMU, found in the installation folder of MotorCAD. This allows the so-called co-simulation with circuit/system tools.
