SubscriberHi, I am trying to make a DC electromagnet. The coil excitations will be direct current and I will not make a time dependent analysis. So for this design which type of analysis is more suitable ?

Magnetostatic simulation is suitable for your application.

Subscriberthank you for the answer. I want to know smoething more. How to assign number of turns of coil in magnetostatic analysis. I found the how excitation can be assign but could not find anthing about number of turns of coil assignment. Would you inform me about this. Thank you.
