Reading .cas.h5 and .dat.h5 file and changing them

I have got .cas.h5 and .dat.h5 file and i want to open them in my fluent through workbench but when I import in setup only cas.h5 file I am not able to edit it and if I read .dat.h5 in setup and start the simulation at some other changes then my fluent closes automatically. Also i am not able to open any of these file in cfd-post.

So please let me know which file should i import in workbench and how i would be able to run my simulation at different inlet values keeping my mesh same as was previously.

      Thanks in advance.

Which release version are you using? Quick workaround without knowing all details: save your files in legacy format (*.cas and *.dat) and repeat the steps .

The files were saved on Ansys 2020 R2 and now I am accessing them on Ansys 2021 R2.
And is this possible now to save in .cas and .dat format in Ansys 2021 and further run at different inlets with the same mesh?

It is. Workbench retained the default to read/write legacy .cas files as CFD Post didn't open them. Note, if you save the files in 2021 you may not be able to open them in 2020.
