SubscriberHello everyone,
Related to my master's thesis, I need to mesh a solar car in Ansys. I start from a STEP-file of half a solar car (symmetry). Then I created an enclosure and bodies of influence in Spaceclaim. I followed the steps in this video: https://youtu.be/dAMPOeQniV0 .
Later I meshed my geometry in the fluent mesher and everything worked fine.
But now here is the problem: I wanted to refine my mesh more on the important faces. To do this I created more named selections of certain faces of the car. Like before, and as explained in the video, I suppressed the car for pyhsics. But now when I imported the geometry in fluent meshing, the named selection of the car and the extra named selections didn't show.
I tried to fix this by unsuppressing the car in Spaceclaim and this helped but another problem then occured. After creating the surface mesh, the program said that I needed to apply 'share topology'. I did this in fluent but the program kept crashing after a while (error [node 0] abnormal Exit! and error [node 999999] abnormal Exit!).
I tried to apply the share topology in Spaceclaim but then it still wouldn't work in Fluent Meshing.. The latest error is this: scoped sizing for (boi1_0, boi2_0) does not evaluate to valid zone(s). (I used three boi's, with boi1 being the closest to the car.)
I hope someone can help me.

Ansys EmployeeIn SpaceClaim, can you please create new separate component for each boi? I remember there was a little bug about boi in the past which was fixed in later versions.
Regards Keyur
