请问在这个案例中,将slab point(绿色点1) 放在灰色区域和红色区域时,蓝色点所得到的effective material index 分别为1.3和1,但是我认为无论绿色点放在哪里都不会对蓝色点处算出来得effective material index 有影响才对,请问这是什么原因呢?

Ansys Employee会改变的,这是此法原理决定的:
绿色点必须位于波导芯,此方法利用该点Z方向的模式计算所有其它点的等效折射率。详细说明参见 Ansys Insight: MODE 初学者:关于varFDTD的工作原理问题
蓝色点所得到的effective material index只是为了让用户大致了解等效折射率的结果,相当于监视器,与仿真结果无关。December 30, 2021 at 3:41 pmwj1996

1.我没能理解到您之前贴子的意思。但是如果按照“利用该点Z方向的模式计算所有其它点的等效折射率”解释,是能够解释当绿点在芯层的时候,蓝点是1的折射率,因为此时相当于模式在真空中传播。因此折射率是1。但是我仍然有几个疑问:
2.在varFDTD中,再把3D等效于2D的过程中,包层(Z方向上真空-氧化硅)的等效折射率是按照“将仿真区Z方向各点处的等效折射率计算出来”(这句话的意思应该指是不用绿色点处的模式吧),还是按照“利用该点Z方向的模式计算所有其它点的等效折射率”,如果按照前者,说明包层折射率应该是1.3。如果按照后者,包层折射率是1,等效于硅被真空包围,但是这又不符合三维结构 由于蓝色点并不影响仿真结果,是否能够将test point的数目设置为0呢,为何建议在与绿色点结构不同处,放置蓝色点(test point)December 30, 2021 at 5:51 pmMarch 1, 2023 at 12:14 pmwj1996
