Hi all,

I'm trying to plot a contour of the Surface Nusselt Number under the Wall Fluxes contour tab. However, the plot shows that the Nusselt number is zero everywhere.

The actual flow behavior looks fine. The energy equation is turned on and there is heat transfer in my system.

What could be the problem?

Can you check you've got boundary values selected, and also try with node values off.

Thank you for your response. I have tried turning off node values and it did not change the results of the plot. Could you explain what you mean by selecting the boundary values?

Oops, have a look in 2022R1 when it comes out. I've been running jobs in the prototype build......
Assuming you are plotting on a wall, can you plot the wall temperature?

I believe I have fixed the problem. It turns out I needed to assign a temperature to the wall in addition to the volumetric heat generation for the Nusselt number to show up as nonzero. Thanks!

What did you have set on the wall? Setting a temperature shouldn't do anything in itself.
