SubscriberAt the moment, if we want to run Lumerical FDTD simulations without the GUI open, we have to do it from the command prompt. Is there a way to run simulations from the GUI but have the GUI close when the simulation starts running?

Ansys EmployeeIf you only want to run the 'simulation.fsp' file you can run them directly from the command line:
/opt/lumerical/v212/mpich2/nemesis/bin/mpiexec -n 4 /opt/lumerical/v212/bin/fdtd-engine-mpich2nem -t 1 /path/simulationfile.fsp
See this article for details.
