SubscriberHello everyone,
I'm using 2021 R1 and I'm trying to use co-simulation between Maxwell and Simplorer. The solution type is 2D EdyyCurrent solver.

Forum ModeratorHi @liangbo On the frequency sweep tab in the maxwell setup, you need to define at least 20 points to eliminate the error.
You can set up Matrix computation by right click on the parameters>Assign>Matrix.
After the simulation, you can see the inductance results under Results>solution data.
Please refer to the Maxwell Help section for more details on Inductance matrix computation.

SubscriberThank you for the reply!
I want to get the loss when the coil is working, it is related to the external circuit of the coils, so I donÔÇÖt want to set current or voltage excitation for coils, I want to choose the external excitation for coils, so I built the circuit in the Simplorer. In Simplorer, the parameters of the compensation circuit such as capacitors and inductors are calculated from the inductance of the coils simulated by Maxwell.
The problem I haven't solved right now is: Before I run cosimulation, I could not get the inductance of coils, so I cannot set the parameters of the compensation circuit in Simplorer, and the simulation can't go on.
If the above ideas cannot be realized, I can only use current or voltage excitation to run simulation to get the inductance of coils at first, then calculate the parameters of the compensation circuit in Simplorer and run another simulation. But I want to do a lot of simulations, itÔÇÖs too time-consuming

Ansys Employeeit looks like you have setup the dynamic eddy current component in Simplorer, the Maxwell model is automatically linking with Simplorer. You can read the RL result in Maxwell after running this co-simulation, or plot loss reports in Maxwell.

SubscriberI am having the same issue and I everytime I analyze in Twin Builder, I get the error
"Simplorer requires the source solution 'Setup1 : LastAdaptive' to have a frequency sweep of at least '20' points (8:30:12 PM May 29, 2023)"
Help needed!-

Subscriber在maxwell里面用扫频分析后加到simplorer里就好了

SubscriberHi...Were you ever able to solve your problem. I am also having a difficulty in getting resullts from the co simulation between Twin builder (Simplorer) and Maxwell.Viewing 5 reply threads- The topic ‘Some details on cosimulation between Maxwell and Simplorer for Wireless Power Transfer’ is closed to new replies.
