SubscriberHi guys,
I am new to Ansys and I have to change the incidence angle of the inlet flow on a axial turbine. I tried to change the velocity components at the inlet but I don't seem to get the right results. Have you any idea how I can change the incidence angle of the inlet flow correctly?
Thank you in advance!

Ansys EmployeeAre you looking into the velocity vectors?

Ansys EmployeeYou can create a local reference frame on the inlet and use it to better provide your velocity components. From you input you are setting the rotation axis to X: is this correct? Based on that input the axial component should point to Global X. And you need to define that at inlet and not in the initialization. What does your Inlet BC look alike?

SubscriberThanks for your help. I have changed the velocity components in the inlet boundary details but now I always get errors running the simulation. In my course we have only used turbogrid, cfx-pre and cfx-post so far so I think it must be possible to do the setup in cfx-pre but I don't know in which section I have to set it.
