SubscriberI'm simulating an airflow into the enclosure through the inlets as shown. based on the hand calculations for a velocity of 5m/s, the mass flow rate should be around 0.375 kg/s . But I'm getting unrealistic values at the inlet as well the exit when I'm using monitors for flow rates. i have attached some screen shots of the geometry as well as the monitor plot.

SubscriberThanks for the reply Rob, the problem was solved. It was a case of units mismatch during CAD import.

Forum Moderator:) Don't worry, I've seen a few of those over the years. I think the best was the silo with natural convection and 1400m/s gas velocities: the silo was 9km high......
