Model blood flow in capillary with Fluent: Species Transport, Porosity

Hi, I am new to Ansys Fluent and using Ansys student 2021 R1.

      1. I was wondering if there is a way to model a fluid with something dissolved in it. It seems to me that the Species Transport Model is applicable to gaseous mixtures only. How can I include a fluid e.g. water or blood, with glucose dissolved in it?

2.How can I make a porous membrane that I can define with a specific diffusion coefficient? In Cell Zone Conditions -> Fluid -> there is the Porous Zone option, but I see no way to define the diffusion coefficient.

      Thank you!!

The species mixture models are for all fluids so no problems with liquid mixtures. Just remember to use a liquid diffusivity!
Membranes are a little more complex, so tend to be modelled using a wall and UDFs. We don't have a specific boundary type at present.
