SubscriberA user has come to us saying that what was working for them in 2019R3 is now not working with 2021R1.
 *** Error 60022 (IMP+22)
LS-DYNA Implicit is not supported in single precision.
Please switch to DOUBLE Precision (I8R8) version.

This SOUNDS like an easy fix...just switch to double precision! But this apparently isn't ringing any bells with the user. What does "switch to DOUBLE precision version" actually mean?
Thanks.

SubscriberGreat, that answers where the selection is made.
Our users frequently use the command line more so than the GUI, so we tried calling the _dp versions directly, but got a license error. It was looking for a local LSTC license. One of our engineers figured out that exporting LSTC_LICENSE=ANSYS solves that problem.
We're checking with them now to see if that resolves all of their issues.
Thanks for the help Rob
