Kindly provide which version of the tool that you are using.
Also please check if you have required license or not to run the tool by running the license manager on the server.
All the very best.

SubscriberHi Thank you for the reply.
I am using Ansys electronic desktop student version. (2021 R2).
Some of the mesh operations of other designs worked properly. So I am not sure what the issue is.
Thank you for any help!

For student version the license manager case is not applicable.
Please restart the application and try running it again.
All the very best.

I already did that. But it is not working. I am getting the same error message. I ran the project on a different laptop, and the project ran without getting any errors. This new laptop has lower features than my laptop but still ran with no errors. So I am pretty sure, the issue is because of something on my laptop. Do you have any clue about that? Do you know what is meant by COM engine?
Thank you for all the support, really appreciate it.

Can you try restarting your system and see if you are able to run the simulation?
Best regards.
