Hi,
Is there a way to use Quasi Normal Mode analysis in Lumerical FDTD to calculate G(ra,rb,w)?
October 28, 2021 at 1:02 pmGuilin SunAnsys EmployeeIn principle, as long as the physics can be described by Maxwell's equations, FDTD should be able to give correct results of E/H. As for other quantities, as long as they are derived from E/H, one should be able to get. For example, the complex time frequency with proper interpretation, one can get it:
Quality factor calculations for a resonant cavity
The decay constant may be interpreted to imaginary frequency.
We have no related examples to Quasi Normal Mode analysis, unfortunately.
