SubscriberHi everyone!
I need to simulate a reciprocating compressor, thus, also I have to simulate the opening and closing of the compressor valves, which depends on gas pressure, for this, I wrote a code that calculates the average pressure in a gas zone, this pressure changes the value of "Viscous Resistance" in Porous Zone so that, when required, the valve zone "opens or closes". This method hasn't been as efficient, for this reason, I would like to ask you if there are any method to change boundary conditions through UDF, so that it allows me simulate the phenomenon.

Forum ModeratorI'd look at the DEFINE_PROFILE example in the UDF manual, or read the chapter in the User's Guide on expressions.

SubscriberIs it possible activate or deactivate a sliding interface through UDF?

Forum ModeratorIt's probably possible via a scheme call, but that's not going to be as simple as you think. Execute commands allows this on a time basis in that you can set actions (TUI commands) to trigger every some seconds or degrees (linked to the cam shaft stuff for incylinder work).
