SubscriberWe recently upgraded to ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2021 R1. When I run ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise on our teaching license I get an error when importing parasolids. When I attempt to import a Parasolid (e.g called Part1.xmt) a warning appears stating “File Part1.anf does not exist. The /INPUT command is ignored.” When this warning is cleared, no areas or volumes have been input. This also happens when trying to input other file formats. I don't believe this error did not occur with the previous version we ran.
The only way it works is if I input the file format as an IGES file. Do anyone know why this error is occurring?
Thanks

Ansys EmployeeParasolid import requires a CAD interface license.
IGES does not require a license
You could examine the License logs in %TEMP%\.ansys to see if that is possibly the issue.
