I recently switched from the 2020 to the 2021 version and now cant open the Mechanical APDL programm.
When I launch it I only get a black window.
Like on the older Version i've switched nothing in the settings, just created an empty folder, where the files should be saved.
I've added some screenshots below of my settings.

Does the graphics window appear in the task bar?

I dont know what exactly you by file.out, incase its the file in the working directory, this is just an empty file i made, where the projects should be saved.
In my taskbar is just the launcher and a window for the all black windiw appers.
