SubscriberHello, I have a line bodies extracted in ansys spaceclaim, but I cannot define contact between a vertex and edge. How to generate contact between a vertex and edge, what other options can be considered in such case and what settings should be given?

Ansys Employee,
You cannot generate a contact between a vertex and an edge. Instead you can use Fixed Joint, which is appropriate for this model. You can refer to these links for detailed overview of the types of contact.

Thanks,
Vinayak.
