I wish to create an axi-symmetric model for a vertical pipe. How can I make the body to rotate about Y- axis. I saw in many posts that, axis of symmetry is x-axis for fluent and cannot be changed.

September 6, 2021 at 2:37 pmrajendraporSubscriberThanks! I figured out about the setting of fluent, after getting divergence. Just changed the vector_g to +x direction. Physics remains the same.
Actually many threads are there where people wrote about getting divergence in axi-symmetric models. This is one of the primary reasons.
September 6, 2021 at 4:16 pmRobForum ModeratorIt is, the secondary reason is having mesh in the y<0 position. Just remember that gravity ****, so if "up" is positive x the gravity vector is -9.81 Getting that one wrong is another very common mistake.
