SubscriberI'm learning how to do simulations with maxwell 3d. I have the electronics desktop student, which has a limit to the mesh size. How do I reduce the number of volume elements in my simulation? I've reduced the mesh setting to it's coarsest, but it is still not enough.

You can Right-click on the mesh in the project manager window and got to initial mesh settings and move the slider to left.
Reduce the number of passes in the analysis setup.
