      Hello everyone,

I'm trying to define a material for Ansys Structural using my own property values. I already exported values for the 6x6 stiffness matrix (picture below) from another program and now Id like to import them into Ansys.

The material can be imported in Ansys using xml file. See if there is option to export xml file. From the snapshot it appears you can export cdb file. Try export cdb file and then use 'External Model' system to import the cdb file in Workbench.

Hi @vitus It may not be straight forward to create xml from csv. Please check the requirement of Ansys xml format
To import the material data xml file, you can open 'Engineering Data' and then go to File Menu>>Import Engineering Data

First right click on 'Setup' cell of External Model and 'update'. Then right click on 'Engineering Data' and update it.
