No option to use a UDF to define heat flux on a wall?

Hi, I need to define the heat-flux on a wall as it varies over the y-direction. There's too much data and it's too hard to fit an equation to define the data, so I want to use a UDF, however, when selecting the desired wall, I get no option in the drop-down menu for heat flux to use a UDF?

Am I making a silly mistake, or is it not possible to use a UDF for this purpose?

      Cheers

Hello You will need to compile the UDF w/o errors and hook it to your case. Which macro are you using to define your heat flux?

      Hi
      I am using DEFINE_PROFILE

Did you compile the UDF? Did you get any error messages?

Which Version are you using? Can you first compile/load a dummy DEFINE_PROFILE as mentioned by Karthik?!
