SubscriberHi, I need to define the heat-flux on a wall as it varies over the y-direction. There's too much data and it's too hard to fit an equation to define the data, so I want to use a UDF, however, when selecting the desired wall, I get no option in the drop-down menu for heat flux to use a UDF?
Am I making a silly mistake, or is it not possible to use a UDF for this purpose?
Cheers

AdministratorHello You will need to compile the UDF w/o errors and hook it to your case. Which macro are you using to define your heat flux?

AdministratorDid you compile the UDF? Did you get any error messages?

Ansys EmployeeWhich Version are you using? Can you first compile/load a dummy DEFINE_PROFILE as mentioned by Karthik?!
