Modelling water drop on a rotating surface

      Hi, I am rather new to Ansys Fluent and I am trying to model a water drop interacting with a rotating surface as well as the air around the rotating surface.

      The main aim of this simulation is to study the deformation of the water drop after its collision with the rotating surface.

      When I look up for relevant tutorials online, people have only modelled water drop falling on a solid, stationary surface instead of a moving one. Can anyone here enlighten me on how to simulate this? Thank you very much.

      Much the same but you need to move the surface. Which orientation is the surface? Ie is the axis in the direction of gravity?

      The normal of the surface is parallel to direction of gravity, so the drop of water is falling onto the plate. Also, may I know how should I move the surface (rotation) if I am doing a 2D simulation?

      Erm, if it's 2d with axi-symmetric you'll be modelling a ring of fluid: you might want to rethink what you're doing.

      Are you saying that I just have to rotate the enclosure?

      Probably, although it may be easier to draw a cylinder in the geometry tool.
