Subscriberhello,
Could anyone help me with the following problem:
I am trying to model a Mod II contact debonding, using CZM. For that, I have to define a bonded contact that will receive the CZM material.
After debonding occurred, it seems that the contact (initially of type bonded) became frictionless! I would like the initially bonded contact to became a frictional one after debonding. I know this can be done using an APDL snippet, but I have no idea how this snippet should look !
Is it possible to change a contact type to a certain moment in time?
Many thanks
Ionut

Ansys EmployeeFriction is a material property attribute with contact.
Try adding a command object under the subject contact pair with the following APDL command (just an example):
MP,mu,cid,0.2 ! friction coefficient of 0.20.
