SubscriberWhat is the difference between the Multiphase (Eularian) Model and the Discrete Phase Model?
I want to simulate an laser abalation process.
In this case i used for the first shot the discrete phase model from a surface with the rosin-rammler condition.
This is a steady simulation.
Is it necessary to use a transient multiphase (eularian) model?
And what are the difference between them?

Forum ModeratorThe difference is covered in the Theory Guide, with additional info in the User's Guide. They are used in different ways, and dependent on what you're trying to learn from the model.
