I want to simulate a compression test of a structure, I want to use a rigid plane to compress the structure. but how to define the rigid plane quickly with apdl or GUI operations?

Ansys EmployeePlease see the following help section: Ansys Help -> Mechanical APDL -> Contact Technology Guide -> Chapter 2 GUI Aids for Contact Analysis. Specifically the section on the Contact Wizard. When defining a contact pair the Target side has an option of being flexible or rigid. If rigid there is also an option to include a pilot node. The moving and fixed rigid bodies can be modeled as surfaces or volumes. Then the appropriate surface used to define the target side.
