Hi, I am studying the effect of tape insert in helical tube. I have created the geometry but I have faced problem in meshing it.
The tube is created by add material (fluid) and the tape insert created by slice material through the tube.
I would like to mesh them by edge sizing, which I have then sketch extra trapezoidal which divide the tube into 5 parts (including the tape insert).
I created two edge sizing where the first edge sizing is in black edges in the image below with number of division of 7 with hard behaviour. And second edge sizing at purple edges in the image below with same settings.

Control the meshing sequence. Select one body, right click and select "generate mesh on selected body". Continue with the process for other bodies
Use a different method - Sweep or Multizone
If problem persists, you can use "preview surface mesh" when using sweep method. You will have to inspect the mesh and see if there are region with poor quality, in which case you will have adjust mesh sizes to improve the quality
