SubscriberHi ,Someone please help e resolve the error in the model. I am attaching the file below. I know this error is due to lack of constraints but I have applied all the necessary constraints please help. Below I am also attaching the problem statement

Ansys EmployeeHi
Ansys employees are not allowed to open attachments - can you please put in inline images of your model, mesh, and geometry part tree from design modeler and mechanical (I assume you have multiple parts).
Thank you
Erik

Ansys EmployeeI think the two line bodies are not connected at their common point - in design modeler go t o the two parts/lines select them on the tree, right mouse button click and choose form new part (multi-body part_ - that will share the topology at the common vertex.
See how the form new part tool is used:

If it is in spaceclaim use shared topology (search for that and you will find tutorials on that).

SubscriberNO Sir if we make it into one part then we cannot assign two different material for both parts right

Ansys EmployeePLease see the video, and search the terms shared topology or multi-body part. These do not merge parts into one, but they share common features between parts (say a common face or vertex,..).
This is the solution to the issue/error so learn how to use share topology.
(So the error is due to the fact that the two beams/parts are not connected at their common vertex)
Closing this one as this resolves it.
Good luck
Erik
