SubscriberI'm new to work-bench and am working on a simple project to verify a material model using some data.
The material is gravel and I was hoping to use a drucker-prager yield function with linear isotropic hardening. If such a model exists, I'm having a hard time finding it.
Is it possible to add isotropic hardening to a drucker-prager yield function?
A plot of deviatoric stress (psi) vs strain(%) is shown below at different confinement pressures (7.5, 12.5, and 17 psi).

Ansys EmployeeI am not sure if you can combine a drucker-prager yeild surface with an isotrpic hardening model in explicit dynamics. However, this could be done in a transient structural analysis system as shown in section 8.5.2.8. PLASTIC (MISO) and EDP Example of the Mechanical APDL Material Reference Guide.
