SubscriberI am modeling a simple duct flow, and I want to apply periodic boundary conditions to the inlet and outlet to reduce the length of the duct and get the same results from the experiment. I believe I need to set both inlet and outlet to Periodic BC and initialize the velocity in the domain and the flow will circulate periodically between inlet and outlet. Theoretically, this is doable, but anybody knows how to do it in Ansys Fluent? the continuity residual diverges in 50 iterations (steady) and solver crashes. Thanks

Forum ModeratorLook in the Periodic settings panel in Boundary Conditions: you set the flow there.
